My Sunday

Yuppee! It’s Sunday again. I woke up early today but didn’t left the bed till late. One thing I don’t understand about Sunday. I always wake up early on Sundays. No matter how late i sleep at night I am ought to wake up early. What a paradox, other people do wake up late on Sundays. Anyways I had to leave the bed as these words kept poking my ears, “You ! son of a Nawab, wake up, Its 9:30 already”. It was mom, ANGRY mom.

After washing m face and brushing my teeth I had my breakfast. I dipped my clothes, which were to be washed, in detergent powder and went to Moni’s residence to give him Virtual Fem 2.0. There after installing the software I played Prince of Persia:The Two Thrones. It’s a nice game to play. At about 11:35, I left for home and washed my clothes.

After bathe I went to Gurudwara. Very few people had came today and most of my friends were absent. After paying homage to the holy book I went to the Langar hall. I had my tea and chatted with sonu and dipu. After the final prayers, I did a little Sewa and had my lunch afterwards. I returned home at about 2:00 P.M.

After taking some rest I played Max Payne. Damn! it’s a lovely shooting game. I played for four hours and would have played for more if Manish’s call wouldn’t have bugged me. He called me to visit him and other friends as its the Sundays only when we all get free time to visit. At 6:30 I went out to see Manish whom I met near Rajesh’s shop. We both roamed till late and met Sambhu afterwards at Rajesh’s shop. At 9 we all left for our home. I began to fiddle with my Linux machine after playing Max Payne for sometime. by 10:30 I was Studying my course materials as exam was knocking at the door. It was scheduled to happen at February first. One thing that has always perplexed me about exam is why I can’t concentrate and study for long time during the pre-exam days and I feel more sleepy. Anyways I had to study whatever the condition may be.

At about 1 or 1:30 I went to sleep with a ray of hope as I prayed to GOD.

Another Blast in the City

Days were passing normally without any ominous incident. and now it’s Thursday. For the whole day I was thinking that today’s gonna be fine, the week’s gonna be fine. But again I was proved wrong, again. The day passed normal as usual but by the evening we got the news that @ Maligaon a blast has occurred. About four people have been deceased at the spot. We at the office began to discuss about the incident. Most of us suspected that the govt. was behind the blasts to cover. They opined that the govt. was trying to camouflage the 30th October blasts last year, the biggest ever terrorist attack in the entire north-east region. Anyways we had to drop the topic as we had works to do.

As i left for home, everybody warned me to be careful while going home. My phone cried out while I was in the bus. It was mom who called me to come home earlier as she had also got the blast news. She was relieved when I told her that I’ll be @ home within half an hour.

At home I fiddled with my Linux Machine again for some time and went to sleep after studying till 1:00 a.m.
